Blessed is he who...delights in the teachings of the Lord and reflects on his teachings day and night. He is like a tree planted besides streams - a tree that produces fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither.
— Psalm 1:2-3a

I'm a wife, mama, truth-seeker, chronic-researcher and ambassador for healthy habits and organic living.

Despite the website name, and my organic-obsession, this is not just a guide about clean food and products. Though we keep our food and home as non-toxic as possible, we also recognize the correlation that comes from feeding our mind and spirit unpolluted 'soul-food' through the scriptures of the Bible. We witness fruit produced in season and blessings abound when we are rooted in Jesus, surrounding ourself with pure soil and watering ourselves in His Word daily.

I yearn to live a life that leaks enough Jesus to water those around me without drowning them.

Since I'm inherently inquisitive, constantly testing and investigating, I'm full of useful (and sometimes useless) facts, and hopefully I can present them in a way you find beneficial/hilarious/stupendous/*and/or select another amazing adjective*

I am an amateur homemaker, with just over 3 years experience, having hung up my corporate hat the day my daughter was born. She's been forcing change in me, which has been both easy and difficult....but all undeniably incredible.

I have had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) for many years, but was more recently diagnosed when I decided to take charge of my health and find a doctor who could truly look at the root cause of my symptoms and help me manage them with proper supplements and dietary changes. I'm also a MTHFR mutant who can't activate much folate or detox properly.

Given that, you can expect to see posts about product reviews, marriage and parenting experiences, healthy, yet tasty (PCOS-friendly) recipes and anything else that seems intriguing!

Other tidbits about me include that I am...

: married to God's perfect mate for me

: easily excited about food

: saddened that some food isn't excited about me

: obsessed with The West Wing so you can expect at least one #WW quote, reference or knowledge gleaned from the show in every blog post

: bilingual, if you include English and Pager Language. 11137001773 :)

: completely enamored with san diego

: most likely in the front row of any concert I go to

: not a photographer, though I play one on my phone

: have a heart for justice and a tendency to fight for those who can't fight for themselves

: at my best the fewer things I own

My husband and I met on eHarmony in 2008 and I knew instantly that he would be my husband. We were married in 2011.
